A contract is a contract and can't be terminated just like that. These girls should have read the fine print.

They were gonna be shelved and have all their planned materials used by other group(s) anyways so parting ways sound like the only correct decision. This is it!

funny to see these 16-20 year old girls taking a stand but full grown men in kpop won't speak up about anything whatsoever

If they have come to this stage, I bet they have something up their sleeves to fight back in court. They are professionals who can easily get consultant / legal advices. They also have Min-Hee Jin to talk to, they are not 5 young girls alone.

Don't threaten me with a good time :alexz: Maybe I won't have to read anymore news about them and their weird shaman-worshipping director/producer/secondary-mother for much longer

I mean what if they found something in the contract that Hype has violated? We do not know the details.

Or sign a contract w/ a western label and rly piss them off. Truly were the most promising new GG on the rise. A shame.

I really hope this is not the end for Newjeans, I really wanted to see more things from these girls. I hope they find a new label or something :dancehall3:

Any and every company is going to jump at the first chance to sign them. I highly doubt this will be the end of NJ, as some of you are wondering. Get out of there, Queens! :jonnykin:
