I have to be honest I really love Drew but her behavior is creepy, if she was a man people would have already clocked it but because she's this super sensitive, heart on her sleeve type of woman it kind of goes under the radar. Like girl I know you're trying to force intimacy on your show but is it necessary to ask people what makes them soft and gooey while stroking their arm like Sméagol strokes his precious ring? No sis we will not be stanning this. 
 

It is so entertaining though and I love the memes, but I would hate to be interviewed by her.

This is just how she does interviews and sets her apart from other talk shows, and it always keeps the tongues wagging on social media (it's been YEARS at this point and people still bring it up) so at this point they are milking it. Pretty sure all celebrities interviewed are briefed by their team/assistants that Drew is all up in your face and that's her gig, so nobody goes to the show expecting anything different or are caught off-guard by her physical closeness.

 

But I agree that it's unnerving, weird and if this was a man doing it, the tone of criticism would be a lot more negative.
