Timothée Chalamet's agent told him to lose the twink look

Timothée Chalamet said he was advised to gain weight when he was coming up as a young actor auditioning for big movies.

"If I auditioned for 'The Maze Runner' or 'Divergent,' things of that variety that were popping when I was coming up, the feedback was always, 'Oh, you don't have the right body,'" Chalamet said in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe. "I had an agent that called me and said, 'You got to put on weight,' basically — not aggressively, but you know."

Instead of trying to change his body type to land roles in blockbuster fare, Chalamet said he found a "very personal style" of films, such as  "Call Me by Your Name," "Beautiful Boy," "Lady Bird," "Little Women," "Miss Stevens" and "Hot Summer Nights."

I don't think a thicker Timothee would've had the same impact and success.

He's lying. He's spoken up before about being told to lose weight.

Young girls LOVE skinny guys and agents would know this. I really don't believe him.

As much as I'm not a fan of his lizard aesthetic it's true that it made him more recognizable

That's part of his charm, once he loses it, it's over because charismatic, he is not.

He is coming close to twink death so he should listen to her now but at the time it was bad advice.

Aren't the movies he mentioned action movies? Maybe they wanted him to put on some muscle. I believe him!

Just £5 a month can help a twink buy an oversized fluffy fleece this winter and help to halt the endangerment of their kind

This!

I mean, he will eventually need to grow out of it but they need to be really cautious because it has to be just at the right time.

This doesn't mean he has to become a muscle god or anything but definitely the Twink schtick can only last so long
