I mean, the writing was kinda on the wall if you read some of her interviews in her prime and looked at how she was moving. I knew she liked music enough to get her out of her circumstances and she liked it enough to achieve famous pop stardom but I don't think she ate, slept and breathed music. If she ever had any passion for it, then the industry made her incredibly jaded. The schedule that Def Jam had her on probably killed any little passion she did have.
