Distantconstellation Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) He still got 2 years left to govern in Minnesota. I thought he was the best thing the kamala campaign did. But hiding him and forcing him to be a "politician" with rehearsed answers was the worst thing possible. He's at his best when he's his likeable self and talking about implementing things free school breakfast/lunches for kids. Edited November 8 by Distantconstellation 1

How Dems went from "they're weird" to campaigning with Liz Cheney, I'll never understand. They put a muzzle on their biggest asset. Edited November 8 by Virgos Groove 1 3
Onyxmage Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Isnt he one of the most beloved Governors in this country? Ive never heard a single person say a bad thing about him (other than psychotic MAGA nuts). I feel like this picture pretty much represents how people will remember him. 2 1
Dancehall Queen Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I'm sorry, but most of these people are forgotten within a few years. Presidents are really the only ones who get brought up, and even then there's a lot of irrelevant ones.
Acuminatus Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) I don't think people will blame him too much for the loss, so he can probably go back to being a Governor and remain in politics. He might be remembered more than Tim Kaine, but that's about it. Edited November 8 by Acuminatus
Gui Blackout Posted November 8 Posted November 8 As a terrible VP pick who didn't contribute to anything in her campaign 1 6
Harrier Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I think history will remember both him and Kamala as the people that did the best they could to stop the advance of fascism, but failed and the American people made a mistake by not supporting them. This wont happen until well after the Trump administration tho Y'all various petty greivances against Tim will not be remembered. 1 2
MP3 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 He looks like a good guy, but I don't think he was the right choice VP

shimind Posted November 8 Posted November 8 A hot masculine male VP would have been more beneficial. 1
ATRL Moderator Bloo Posted November 8 ATRL Moderator Posted November 8 Positively. It's a shame he was so under-utilized and taken for granted. He had great political instincts and the Harris campaign decided to tell him to not be himself despite him being the most popular person on either ticket. 1

harwee Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I like him and the meme about how he defined republicans will always be famous.
BornUnbroken Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I think he'll be remembered simply because of the memes of being the guy that called Republicans weird. It could stick for the next election. Kind of crazy looking back at just 3 months ago when it happened, Democrat circles were so excited, and although I don't define myself by any party, I was actually hopeful we'd get him as president after Harris. He truly felt like the change we needed to move forward.
