Even when she's not 100 percent she sounds divine. The riffs and runs alone.

I really miss this lady. Ugh.

the performance of TGLOA is just wild, especially to think that she was still producing sounds like that towards the end of a two-hour show.

actually it's what makes the concert even better. I love how every concert of her is not scripted and she used to do what she wanted to do every time.

this concert is just historical, iconic, everything...

listened immediately when it was released this morning and during times like these, hearing her voice feels especially powerful. The way she handles the ballads with such skill and creativity despite a year of touring stadiums and being sick. This woman constantly gave her all and im glad they are letting us celebrate her legacy with this iconic concert.

What happened to her that night? Was she sick or something? Because she sounds as good as she ever was during her prime.

The physical release leaves out half of the songs, sadly. At least the CD should have been a double disc featuring all the tracks...  So I'll have to buy the digital version as well...

She was still very much in her prime but the common answer is that she must have caught a cold during that time and was recovering. Plus she had spent nearly 2 years touring in arenas and stadiums across every continent and singing for some two hours straight. And the songs she sings and how she likes to sing require health and rest neither of which she had in abundance by the time she did these shows and yet she was still great.

Saving this for a night I wanna enjoy at home and I can't wait, there are few joys given to humanity as great as a Whitney concert. I think if I was rich and an adult in her golden years I would've tried and watched multiple of her shows like so many stans do now and it'd actually be worth it :jonny: Nothing beats a singer who never sings a song the same twice and nobody did it like HER.

I didn't get to watch the film and regret that but I got irked by one tiny clip of right before the IHN key change when she does the little hand flapping up and down if anyone else knows what I mean kwjehnweh. Everyone knows whats coming and the cymbal is going off and she summons that palpable energy to flow right through her like electricity. And in the original clips you can hear the crowd going crazy already. But I saw they zoomed in on her and kinda robbed us of that moment...that's one of my fave clips from her ever! Her stage presence was so majestic but fun and relaxed at the same time. And now that theyve released the movie I'm sure finding older HQ clips of that one part zoomed out will be harder to find like they need to not pmo like wtfff.
