Migs Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 (edited) The Britney impact. But OT: if anyone had told back in 2014 that Iggy would be selling sex toys 10 years into her career, I would've called them insane. Oh well. Edited November 7, 2024 by Migs
SmittenCake Posted November 7, 2024 Author Posted November 7, 2024 Even tho I DO NOT stan her (I only report on the news/female rappers) you've gotta admit...the former Princess of Rap (who still maintains the most critically acclaimed female rap album per Wikipedia) has a strong work ethic and continues to hustle hard. Things could have been so much better... Just getting a wee emotional. Please excuse this post. 7

Venice B Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Not gonna lie I kinda admire her drive because girlie is always flopping in every single market she tries to venture herself in but she never gives up. Gotta give her props for that! 2

TryMe Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 She should make pocketp*ssy for all of the cryptobros she has been trolling. 1 1

Dolce Vita Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 i love that even though she's shilling sex toys now, she still has her sense of aesthetics/graphic design locked DOWN. she would make a good creative director for other artists 1

A+ 97–100% A 93–96% A− 90–92% So not a 95 but at least a 90 While I'm not discrediting Iggy's album, how can we say it's the most critically acclaimed based off of just Tom Hull's A-? Idk why but her album is not on Metacritic reviews (maybe because it did not account for it, like it needs reviews of the publications that it includes ig). Metacritic and AnyDecentMusic? are reputed aggregate score-givers, based on a number of widely known publications. Albums like Room 25 by Noname (93), Sometimes I Might Be Introvert by Little Simz (88 on MC), and Invasion of Privacy by Cardi (84) have been critically acclaimed. Albums like All Hail The Queen by Queen Latifah, Miseducation by Lauryn Hill, and Hardcore by Lil Kim have been met with universal acclaim; Lauryn and Kim's albums got a bunch of 4-stars and A's IIRC (Metacritic wasn't created at the time). Albums like Pink Friday, Planet Her, The Pinkprint, etc. received acclaim or positive reviews (their scores are in the 70s range on MC). I think Iggy's album is one of the most well/positively received or acclaimed female rap albums. It's difficult to decide any one.
FireFade Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 her new core fanbase is literally twitter incels, I'm not sure if they would want to rub this on their gooch
