But they share a significant share of the blame. DNC and Biden also as he should have stepped down far sooner so an actual primary could have taken place. And DNC fought tooth and nail against a legitimate primary. At the end of the day though it's the candidate and team that lead the campaign that shares the most blame since they didn't do enough to break from Biden, do things differently, and get people off the couch. Which many didn't because they weren't doing much to differentiate from Biden and show that they'd do anything meaningfully different, so people just weren't persuaded. The burden is on the candidate and the campaign to do that persuasion. Disinformation doesn't help, sure, but it's clear a lot more could have been done. And should have been done differently. Laundering the reputations of neocons and pretending that's going to do anything clearly ain't the way. I agree with what a lot you're saying. That being said, we also have to extend some grace toward Kamala, who had to pull off a candidacy in a very condensed amount of time while also serving as VP and dealing with the fact that most Americans still don't fully understand what a VP even does. She not only ran against Trump, but against the reputation she gained working under Biden. But at the end of the day, for as lousy and weak as the Democrats are, the people I'm still angriest at are those who went to voted for Trump. Kamala didn't get the votes, and the amount of people who voted third party, as angry at them as I am, weren't going to necessary close the gap either. The problem is that too many people simply voted for Trump. It's not ignorance on their part either. It's just malice. 15 2 1
TiaTamera Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Concentration camps here we come! and while we're at it, can we deport the Israelies that are in Palestine? No? Oh okay 1
BrokenMachine Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Good luck replacing all of those millions of immigrant workers. A total collapse is coming if this turns out to be true 5

Hit the nail on the head. This election proved no one else gets any form of respect if you do not get anything back. Goodbye! 1 1

They are so stxp!d they even say ''he doesn't want to deport the working people that come here'' bxtch you're the illegal alien he's referring to! 12

This would take years to implement even if he tried All branches of government are in his pocket and republicans make the majority of the senate and the house. With the majority, any democratic opposition will be squashed and all republicans will vote in favor of whatever Trump wants. 1 2

BE FOR REAL FOR ONCE I mean there are plenty of people being daft in all of these threads gloating, posting gotcha moments, and more arguing. We are allllllll going to suffer because of the decisions - voters and non-voters - made. Latino men don't get a pass. This IS what they voted for. 10 1

Oh, so it's ok to dogpile on a member that has said they are undocumented and afraid of getting deported and taunt them? So them being afraid of their livlihood is warranted because other people that have a similar ethnic background as them made a bad decision at the ballot? A decision, they themselves, have not had a hand in because they're not allowed to vote? 1

Well, it will end up in protest and flop just like it happened in 2017. Actually I wanna see the faces of the ones who voted for him but will be deported
