"we can't be friends (wait for your love)", the second single from Ariana Grande's latest/7th album 'Eternal Sunshine' has now surpassed 1 BILLION streams on Spotify.

 

With this feat, it now:

- is Ariana's 18th song with over 1B streams on Spotify, extending her record as the woman with the most songs to hit the mark.

- Ariana is the first woman to have 18 songs with over 1B streams on Spotify (same thing as above)

- WCBF is now her fastest song to hit 1B streams, doing so in 242/243 days (nearly 8 months), surpassing "7 Rings" (349 days/11.5 months/nearly a year).

- Ariana ties Olivia Rodrigo as the female artists with the most songs released this decade to hit 1B on Spotify (7 each).

 

PS. Ariana just surpassed 51 BILLION streams across all credits/her catalog on Spotify; 2nd most streamed woman, after Taylor Swift.
