fa77ot Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) Quote We are thrilled to announce that Tori's new album 'Diving Deep Live' comes out December 6th and is available for pre-order now. The album was recorded during the 22/23 Ocean to Ocean world tour. The double LP will be available in Deluxe and Standard versions and will feature 12 iconic tracks, with an additional 4 bonus tracks "Diving Deeper" available on CD and Digital. You can pre-order it now and stream the first single 'Cornflake Girl' via the link in bio And now, a word from Tori about the record. After having already moved the entire tour twice due to the Pandemic, I was eventually able to start rehearsing with the band, which for this tour consisted of my musical friend of a million years, MD and Bassist @jonevansmusic and for the first time renowned Drummer and Percussionist @ashsoan. By the time we set off, Europe still had not fully opened up, so we played the UK and Ireland and headed to the States. By the time we finished in late summer 2023 we couldn't believe how quickly time had passed and how much fun we had. Playing with these two beings was one of the greatest experiences I have had on stage. To be able to sit back and jam with the guys was so very special, I truly hope anyone listening will find themselves getting lost in the moment just like we did. yourcloud Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Ugh i love her so much. And i think the song selection is pretty great. Amber Waves deserves to have her time in the sun.
Dante Silva Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I was not prepared for her to have taken her voice down a key and I'm not sure how much life she is giving that performance but there are welcome little flourishes in her piano playing that definitely embellish (and not detract from) the main studio version of the song.
Cruel Summer Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I'll have to listen to this before deciding whether I'm interested in buying, just because I don't know how well her voice is holding up anymore for a live album, but I'm always here to support Tori. The fact that she manages to make her performances differ meaningfully from the studio versions may end up being compelling enough a reason to support this. She's such an incredible artist.
Fancyhoodlum Posted November 1 Posted November 1 that's so amazing, I'm so happy for this!! very exciting
livelikemusic Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Oh, this is going to be fantastic. Love me some Tori. A former friend got me into her!
