I don't know what is happening in his life exactly, but between this and his statements about trying to figure out his sexuality, there's certainly a lot going on. I wish him the best and hope he really finds his true self one day

Wbk. Camila left him during Familia era because of his alcoholic / drug problem. While she was busy hustling, he was drunk as hell in LA and NY clubs. 
 

I hope he gets some help. Instead of going into those LA mindfulness / hippie cult for solution. He's clearly lost and he needs better friends to ground him down.

He broke up with her which they both have stated and this was after they broke up. Familia era was also after they broke up because their's literal songs about the breakup on the album

He's not wrong that literally HUNDREDS of successful stars before him and have struggled with fame and fortune. We're warned a million times that they aren't the solutions we dream them to be, but alas furious hoards love to absolutely rip anyone to shreds that dares to complain about fame/wealth because we so heavily believe the lie that those would make us happy.

 

IDK what's going on with Shawn's life but y'all have a) got to give him a god damn break about his sexuality - since when is gossiping about someone's sexuality and repeatedly trying to out them for well over a decade acceptable? and b) accept that there are parts of his life we don't know about, and admit that you don't know what it's like to have millions of people talk about you online, where you can see.

Wonder era is underrated, it was kinda a flop era since none of the songs reached same success as his previous songs but there was something odd with him mentally that took a tool on him. I hope he's in better space now!

If I were him I would just deal with it in private

 

He doesn't owe anyone an explanation or even coming out(if that's really the case)
