Fundamentalist groups of any abrahamic religion would come up with horrifying and oppressive policies if allowed to seize power. The unchecked and fundamentalist parts are the key words here, not the specific flavor of crazy/superstitious or region of the world. Mocking all Muslims does not honor or aid the victims of the Taliban and does not meaningfully convey the underlying issue here which is that religions are fundamentally dangerous. China is more than happy to prop them up economically, and Gen Z social media users think the Taliban are misunderstood peace activists since the Taliban published pictures with 10 female Chinese and white European travel influencers, so they won't have any incentive to change this sadly.
