In the days since Los Angeles Times owner Patrick Soon-Shiong blocked the newspaper's editorial board's plan to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, his daughter—who said she was part of the decision—accused the Biden-Harris administration of supporting what she described as Israel's "genocide" of Palestinians as part of the reason.

Ya'll be sorry when yellow man closes borders again, puts up tarrifs, cancels nato and your basic human rights.

Sorry, but it is her against him, it is too late now for the story of needing better democratic candidate, holding her accountable

Excuses excuses. Let's not act like dozens of billionaires who owned like *all* of mainstream media also came out to support Trump and his "Pro-Palestine ticket".

Same **** also happened with Jeff Bezo's blocking Washington Post from endorsing anyone (Kamala) for the 1st time since 1970s.

Criticism of Harris on this issue is of course warranted but it seems that this is deflection from what actually motivated the decision

Quote

His daughter said Saturday the Gaza war influenced the decision not to endorse. But Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong said Gaza did not play a role. "She does not have any role at the L.A. Times, nor does she participate in any decision or discussion with the editorial board," he said.

So his daughter was trying to virtue signal for him. But her father can't even go along with it :coffee:

Yeah, this was clearly a deflection from his daughter since Patrick is a big ol' Trump supporter.

Idk about y'all but when it comes to Palestine, the US policy will never change. Whoever gets to the White House will always provide unconditional support to Israel and put that as a top priority so I kinda feel sorry for Americans for having to choose between these two. Both are horrible but once is lying about it and the other is like 'take it or leave it.' I'm so sorry.

She deserves the lashings

But what I don't get is the fact that everyone bats an eye with Trump being worse to Palestine

Like honestly he is going to be 10x worse :skull:

The left remains divided with Kamala and the right remains solid with Trump

The best course of action is to elect her then lash her once in office.

The orange man will destroy Palestine as a sport.

What bugs me about this too is that the NYT's still has an article about this on their front page saying it's the reason he pulled the endorsement, even though we now have a statement from the man himself saying otherwise. :toofunny3:

Holding one of the most influential political figures you have for an ongoing genocide witch your country is financing does not equal to wanting trump to win.

What's crazy is american democrats refusing to hold their leaders accountable. Gives off trump cult vibes but make it liberal.

It's just a little concerning that you seem to care more about a politician' PR campaign ( when even she & her team doesn't seem to care that much considering the last few weeks) then your country continuing to use your money to fund the slaughtering and torture of a whole nation.
