and the biggest for an ex-disney act too :clap3:

The tour could've crossed $200 million if she had toured in Latin America, but $186 million is still amazing, of course :clap3:

The tour's co-manager confirmed that there was enough demand to fill up stadiums, so I wonder if that's the next step for Olivia or if she'll stick with arenas like Billie is doing.

The Circus Starring Britney Spears is still higher adjusting for inflation. She's right behind though. :clap3:

To add to that, it's also the highest grossing tour by an O.R. chanteuse, an O.R. chanteuse of filipino descent, an O.R. chanteuse who has beef with Taylor and an O.R. chanteuse of filipino descent who has beef with Taylor :clap3:

With only just 2 albums, that is an amazing feat :clap3:

Neither Olivia or Britney are ex-acts that term was made specifically to discuss Miley Demi and Selena's post Disney careers in the early 2010s because of the stigma of them being Disney pop stars and that no longer exists, the term is completely obsolete now

I guess so... This must have been the previous record:

Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever - $131.7 million (79 shows)

Billie's probably on track to take this record back with her current tour. But she also had her first headline tour 5 years before Olivia's SOUR tour.

I would love to see a stadium tour next. She totally has the charisma and presence to fill out that stage, imo. Summer stadium tour in 2026 would be perfect if she releases music next year in Q3 or Q4.

Billie doing arenas when she could be doing stadiums is one of the most commendable things a MPG has done recently

It's so funny that Billie, Dua and Olivia had the demand to do a cute stadium tour, but instead they did it in arenas, only to end with multiple dates per city. :mummy:

I think it's actually very smart of her. It's better to do a few arena tours and build a loyal fan base than to do a full stadium tour too early in your career. That's basically what Taylor did, she probably could have sold out a stadium tour during 1989 or even before that, but she waited until Reputation because she knew that by that point she had enough loyal fans to sell out one. Also doing arenas first allows the artist to develop more confidence on stage. Stadium tours also require a bigger structure and logistics, which is a little more complicated if the artist doesn't have much experience.

Or book stadiums but she openly says how much she hates those :deadbanana4:

OT: Good 4 her! A nice record to have (for now)

The fact she sold tickets for literal pocket change in some countries and still achieving this much

Olivia's an icon and she is the moment

:clap3: Stadiums sound great but she needs to make sure the stage crew is more competent and doesn't leave any trap doors for her.

Also, no more flying around on a moon or the like since there won't be anywhere to anchor it. :WAP:

I understand Billie thinking stadiums are too impersonal but it feels impossible to get tickets to see her without spending an arm and a leg. I hope she'll realize more fans get to see her for cheaper if she does stadiums
