Nicole already leads the whole show. And praise had nothing to do with it. She was hired to play Norma Desmond so she naturally she sings (and acts) the most. It's no different from PCD where she was hired to be their vocalist. I'm actually surprised the usuals aren't complaining that the supporting characters in Sunset Boulevard aren't being allowed sing/act as much as Nicole. :deadbanana2:

Lou Taylor's company, Tri Star, does NOT do PR or marketing. They're a financial/accounting firm that manages celebrity money. Nicole signed to have LTri Star manage her personal money so now Lou has access to trusts in Nicole's name. Also, if you're claiming that the positive reviews from critics (and viewers) are due to someone "paying the press," where was with all of this for Nicole's previous projects? Nicole suddenly got money and paid critics to praise her? And why are the audience reviews positive also? They were paid also? The delusion. :deadbanana2:

she already had the disadvantage of this being her Broadway debut and being best known in America as that pussycat dolls singer.

 

her supporting taking away human rights does not go over well with a community packed with people who are queer and/or POC who are amongst the most affected.

 

it's not just "oh politics."

What's the difference in not allowing someone to be awarded and celebrated for their phenomenal talent and performance because she doesn't align with your political beliefs? Y'all are calling Trump and Republicans Fascist while LITERALLY spewing fascists statements. You can't make this **** up...

And the woman who had an abortion took away the baby's right to a life. Are YOU happy now?

Also, I'm not against the ability to have abortions. This should be available. BUT not to be celebrated like y'all do. And some regulations should be implemented.

I saw the show last week and was honestly surprised by the acclaim. She sang DOWN, which is no surprise, but her acting was... not it. I thought she was overacting, and not in a campy way. It also made no sense that she's supposed to be some washed up old star when she looks 35 and is hot. She literally did a split on stage :deadbanana2:

 

But anyway, the two lead actors and the other lead actress were amazing, so I hope the show is recognized :clap3: Some of the staging decisions were also soooo cool and had me gagged.
