BeenTheShit Posted October 22 Posted October 22 I'm surprised it took this long since people have discussed his misconduct toward the male models for years. 2
Vermillion Posted October 22 Posted October 22 And two other execs were also arrested that facilitated it! Without them this wouldn't have managed to go on nearly as long. A&F's stock is doing decently by the way with their rebrand if anyone was wondering. There was a lengthy interview with their new(ish) CEO on Squawk Box a couple weeks ago. Once all three get their prison sentences it'll be as if that entire era that dominated pop culture lining up perfectly with MTV's TRL never happened Kind of surreal to think about. I really hope the male models band together for a class action civil suit similar to the Diddy case to get all the money they can as well 1
Vermillion Posted October 22 Posted October 22 I just saw that the cases being tried are from 2008-2015, long after the brand's peak. Almost as if he was trying to use any power he had left knowing it was waning…. Really disturbing and sad.
Velvet Night Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Not surprised not one bit. This is the same piece of **** that insisted unsold clothing be destroyed instead of sent to developing countries where it can be used by people in need. He didn't want poor people wearing his clothing to ruin his brand.
Raver Posted October 22 Posted October 22 & to think Abercrombie was at its best when he was CEO smh throw away the key
OrgVisual Posted October 22 Posted October 22 These kinds of guys must be the ones attending Diddy's party right?

Not sure how to be PC here so I won't bother, but with some exception, the majority of Diddy's male victims were black, and I believe the entirety of Jeffries' victims were white. If you're implying the Jeffries execs attended a Diddy party, most of these accusations happened after Diddy's parties were as massive, and they ran in different social circles at their peaks.

Vermillion Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Just now, OrgVisual said: I mean the CEO guy / perpetrators I honestly doubt it. Though they were both wealthy and both targeted vulnerable men looking to move ahead in their respective industries, and were both at their peak of influence in the late 90's and early 2000's, they were operating in very different social circles. Jeffries famously had most of his controversies centered around avoiding people of color, which really says it all.
Dolce Vita Posted October 22 Posted October 22 well finally crazy that they've been able to sustain a rebrand tho, people love their basics
Vixen Eyes Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Wait apparently I've been following one of the male models that was a victim in this https://www.instagram.com/p/DBbrSxpvruV/?igsh=MXNpazJpbHhxanRtcA== 1

I think barrett pall was what kickstarted that documentary. 1 1

Gesamtkunstwerk Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Same man who wanted "no overweight or unattractive" people wearing his clothes. You just know he was an insecure loser, so he needed to take it out on the people he was jealous off: attractive, skinny, popular guys. Ugly on the outside, even more ugly on the inside. Rot with Diddy
