How many times do we have to see Carrie kill everyone :rip:

His Netflix shows are so good, but 2 hours top is enough for Carrie's story. I don't see the point.

I'm all for new takes and etc, but stretching Carrie into an 8 episode miniseries likely means he'll have to add a ton of stuff, like a lot. Might as well just create a new original story lol

Not the OCH out in full force… Miss Carrie stays booked and busy every Halloween, the original film boasting 2 acting Oscar noms which is hard to get!

Seriously, I was today-years-old when I realized some people really hate this movie :khalyan:

I haven't read the book in quite some time, but I hope they go with a plus-sized actress since that would be more truthful to how she's depicted in the book.

Regarding this being 8 episodes long: there are many characters that they more than likely will flesh out in a TV miniseries (Carrie's mom, Sue and Tommy, the gym teacher Rita, Chris) - and don't forget Flanagan's overdrawn monolgues. Isolated, those alone will probably take up 4 episodes.

I mean, I get it... but do we really need a fourth adaptation (fifth overall)?

Love Carrie but 8 episodes?

I was hoping Max would go this route after Derry but this can work. Stephen King adaptations are either really good or really awful these days…

I would like to see a sequel kind of Story or at least that they extend it a bit after the movie ends. I love the movie but I don't see it filling 8 eps

We need him to do the backstory series of 13 Ghost and a sequel to Trick R Treat. Carrie is overdone.

the way Stephen King has released over 60 novels and we keep adapting the same ******* book...
