NoOneDiesFromLove Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Is this enough impact yet or are people still gonna deny it. This coming from an actual Beatle calls for an end of discussion 1
The Music Industry Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 but Fortnight is not a hit in my Bulgarian village of 492 people so this is irrelevant 3

Doctor Dick Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 (edited) I will never understand how people can so easily compare Taylor's peak to Beatlemania, let alone something like this: People were literally fainting. You simply cannot tell me that Taylor has such a massive dedication and excitement. Edited October 19, 2024 by Doctor Dick 4 9
byzantium Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 What does this man know about beatlemainia? People these days will never understand what it was like to be alive when the Beatles were active. 3

He said she is the now, also implied she's the biggest since Madonna (not bigger THAN). But I mean, I already posted a video in this thread of what was happening during MJ's peak (who's also sold more with just six studio albums may I add) so these mental gymnastics of hopping over one of these legends to fit a narrative or downright claiming something Ringo is not saying are just ridiculous. We know Taylor is huge but y'all are just like adding things. She's not bigger than Michael Jackson with factual proof (sales, videos of how fans and the public reacted to him, hits, cultural impact) and even Ringo says she's the biggest since Madonna.
