Perhaps you want to torment idiotic souls or rewrite reality with magic. Maybe you just want to belong or give someone a love potion. If this sounds like you, please come in! Leave your brooms and shoes outside. Oh and don't move the salt! General Information/Rules Mafia is a game where a Town is thrust into a violent situation against the powerful Mafia who will kill someone every night. Town must root out these evildoers before it's too late. There may be other self-serving parties at work too. Wincons: Town wins by eliminating all members of Mafia. Mafia wins by eliminating enough Town to win the game. Location: This will take place entirely on Discord (@d.essy). The last 3 mafia games I tried to host always got interrupted by ATRL site issues so this is a chance to see how it'll work in that format. 🌕 Phases: Day and Night will be 24/24. Weekends will have extended hours. 📅 Start Date: Aiming for Monday (October 21) if we get enough sign-ups by then. Communication: Only mafia and certain roles may have direct communication which other players. Dead players will join the speculator's chat. Any other communication such as DMing another player about the game is strictly forbidden. If you are doing this, it will be an instant DQ. Activity: This game will require daily activity. You do not need to be on constantly but you should at least be able to engage with other players at least once and vote. Please don't sign up if you're about to go on a weekend getaway for 3 days💀 Claims: Sharing your role cards or information with other players isn't allowed. Sharing any communication I send privately to you is not allowed. You are allowed to share the function of your power and your name. Just keep in mind that there may be roles that look for a specific role. Need to exit?: Life happens, stuff can come up. Please dm me if you need to exit the game, so that I may have time to find a replacement. Setup and Roles This setup is bastard role-madness. Role madness means everyone gets a unique power. Bastard means I won't tell y'all what the powers or alignment are, and this isn't a balanced game. This is a Halloween Special. It's chaotic fun! I'm looking for 13 witches to join my coven. I already got 2 so I only need 11 more! When you sign up, please dm me a list of three names from the cast you would like to be in order of preference. Roles will be assigned or randomized accordingly. The Ensemble Cast: Spoiler Powers will be revealed to the player with the role and after death. Keep in mind that all abilities can fail or be manipulated. You will be told if this is the case. As always, be nice, be respectful, follow ATRL rules; it's just a game. Have fun!
