Interested in how good his interpretation will look. The soundtrack will be killer like in the original.

Too bad, he usually has such innovative ideas. I read somewhere that the reason the first one worked was because it had a female director.

Think he'll use it to get Armie Hammer out of retirement?

Unnecessary tbh, the original has aged very well + is already homoerotic

I just don't think we need this if it's just a direct remake/adaptation of the book. I hope he turns into a unique version of it. Can't wait to see what fine man he finds to play Bateman.

Good, the Alfa male and cinephile bros will finally open their eyes about the obvious queer coded character

I can already tell it's gonna be very gay.

Enough remakes [100] but dkfjldsgjsld this is gonna be the gayest movie of all time! We kinda won. No other director captures the gay male gaze quite the same way.

Cooper Koch would be perfect.

Good. I hope that it sticks to the book. I enjoy the movie that's already made, but it's sooo tame for what American Psycho the book is. I feel like the book would work better as a movie in some parts, tbh. The killing parts were WAY more demented and f***ed up (one of the very last ones in particular made me physically ill).

Should have been The Shards

I always hated the changes from the movie, so I'm glad we're getting a fateful adaptation.

Casting wise, it's gonna be Jacob Elordi for sure.

I love the original because a woman directing it really put emphasis on the satirical element that Easton Ellis put out. I guess he can make it… gay?

what were the differences between the book and the movie? :gaycat6:

I like what he did with Suspiria... he truly made it his own while the original still stands as a classic so im here for this. :giraffe:
