Lizzo took a temporary and welcome break from her "gap year" for a dinner chat at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Laguna Niguel, Calif., on Monday. It was the first time the singer-songwriter has spoken publicly, other than via her social media, since she was accused of creating a toxic work environment, allegations she has steadfastly denied. But the singer assured the audience she's been working, even if people don't see it. The four-time Grammy Award winner discussed everything from her music career to her shapewear brand Yitty to her advice to rising artist Chappell Roan—and who she voted for in the upcoming presidential election: Kamala Harris.

Her advice to Chappell Roan: "Call your therapist"! (@13:25)

And regarding the abuse allegations, her answer is: :-x:dancehall:(@6:15)

I just heard she's an ex-"vegan", she's now posting reels of all the meat she eats on the daily as if anybody would want to emulate her unhealthy af diet...

She's an all around total hypocrite, truly despicable woman. :rip:

Discontent with the inability to abuse her employees any longer, Lizzo has found a new lease on life abusing animals.

Right sis, I swear the moment those abuse allegations came up, I just knew she wouldn't last as a "vegan" for long... :rip: How could she fatshame her employees while promoting body positivity in the public eye at the same time? Outrageous.

she didn't fat shame anyone. Lizzo told one of the dancers that she is worried about her and this dancer believes Lizzo said it because she had gained weight and accused her of body shaming.

Lizzo called the Japanese diet "one of the healthiest diets in the world and it has some of my favorite foods." After traveling to the country, she said she was "in awe of how clean and delicious their food was."

The Grammy winner "indulged in fresh sushi, fluffy egg and I was amazed at how good my body felt the next day."

That led Lizzo on a journey to figure out how animal proteins affected her body. She discovered that the proteins helped her "have more energy, lose weight and helped with my mental fog."

"I do believe the vegan diet is the healthiest diet," the "About Damn Time" singer said, confessing she "aspired to one day be a "raw alkaline vegan, Until then, this is the diet that's helped me reach my goals and helped me feel good in my body."

So it seems veganism was more about health than morals for her.

A music industry source exclusively tells Life & Style that Lizzo, 36, who was openly proud of being obese, has shed more than 60 pounds from her 5-foot-10 frame.

In March, the "Truth Hurts" singer – real name Melissa Jefferson – admitted she was tired of "being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look."

She's long preached how people shouldn't be ashamed of their bodies, including "girls with back fat, girls with bellies that hang, girls with thighs that aren't separated, that overlap … you know, girls who are in the 18-plus club." But after dropping so much weight, she's started using terms like "body neutrality."

Time to become a weight loss influencer!
