Oh, she's stopped trying to be edgy with rock/metal then :gaycat7: she's trying to become the next edge indie pop girl now isn't she.

The rock/metal projects were her best though, she had a knack for it. It was perfectly accessible without coming off corny or too by the numbers but also totally fresh for her. And the visuals were cool.

Oh, make no mistake - it was corny as hell.

The 2 singles before this were rock/metal though...?  Atp I feel she's just releasing music without committing to a specific genre necessarily. I was surprised by how this sounds considering the previous release but I'm more excited for the album now

This sounds great but I'm TIRED of these visuals, this is like the third video in a row that looks the same, can she come up with something else? :thing:

her upcoming album is literally labeled as metal on apple music/itunes. it is described to have a few poppier songs like this one, but overall she's still "trying to be edgy" and making rock/metal music, like the previous 2 singles.

Aka what she has always done :cool2:

She also did this with AIAG, ID and Zig (to name a few) we love her for it <3

They're just visualizers themed after the album, usually the artist puts out like a gif of the album cover

I like this. None of the previous singles and most of the past two albums sticked with me, but I will have this on repeat.

I like when she does uptempo pop sound.

this is the art direction of the album - she is very consistent with her visuals each album cycle.
