OTR's tumble down comes with an asterisk, though. It was precipitated by the removal of UGC. It was #15 the week before the rule was changed, then fell to #46 on the week of the rule change, then fell off the week after. OTR was easily going to reach 52 weeks under the older rule.

 

ABS should serve longevity after it falls from #1. However, it may suffer an earlier than expected exit (like Cruel Summer) if the charts become stronger in the spring. Absent of that, I see no reason why ABS can't make an extended run like Lose Control.

Die with a smile was released 4 months before the end of the year and it already has sold 3,3m units in the US, & more than the double WW. And looking at its chart performance it is not slowing down. So when it is all over it will become the best selling song of 2024 and also the most streamed.
