She's coming for Mariah's wig. It's because Spotify spams all the Xmas playlists with their exclusive songs. This song was added to the biggest Xmas playlist as if it was a hit already. Seeing how they have favoritism over their own exclusives it's so interesting. It's manipulation for streams. 2 4

Why wouldn't they? It's their platform and their playlists. Like would you rather a singer putting up a playlist and NOT include their new release? Lol 7

Like how in the world is Laufey "winter wonderland" #6 on Holiday Hits between Santa Tell me and it's the most wonderful time of the year. I've never even heard of the song. 1

Hopefully a relationship with Spotify and distribution through Warner will lead to decent playlisting in the future. I'm only now discovering that Spotify talked about her doing this to Billboard and they are stanning her hard, so I think you may be onto something Quote "As you'll hopefully hear, each single really showcases the personality and style of each artist — often reinventing holiday classics in an entirely new way," Talia Kraines, Spotify's senior editor of pop, tells Billboard. "With 'Holiday Road,' Kesha has taken this really fun '80s song – which wasn't originally a holiday song – and brought it to the modern day. We just knew she would sound amazing singing it, and she does. Her vocals make me think of The Go-Gos or The Bangles here. It feels like a monumental year for Kesha, and we're thrilled to be a part of it – she's reclaiming her joy and owning her own voice," she adds of the Grammy nominated artist. "It also seemed fitting to have Kesha make a holiday song with us because her music actually hits a high each year on Spotify during the holiday season. Tracks like 'Tik Tok' and 'Timber' have come to be known as New Year's and celebration anthems." https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/kesha-dasha-holiday-songs-spotify-singles-2024-1235800396/ 2
