Popular Post WildHeart Posted October 14 Popular Post Posted October 14 "The audience not giving a ****" coming from a person who still gives a **** about a speech from 5 years ago just because of her blocking his fave's last album from #1 months ago. Twitter is not a serious place 28 5 25 5
Doctor Dick Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Ugh. I just can't get into her. Same with the whole Kanye-drama. She knew exactly what he meant when he called her and rapped the lines "Taylor owes me sex" because he made her famous and she laughed and said it wasn't mean at all and was okay only to go on stage at the Grammys with that "there'll be people trying to take credit for your success" after she just had said to that to Kanye, then made it about the word "*****" as if that was worse than "someone owing you sex" which is far more misogynistic And then she acts like she never did any break-up songs on any other album after Speak Now. I just can't with her. And yes she has every right to date whoever whenever she wants but it's just kinda a specific vibe that no one from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s mpgs have had that many partners. Do your thing girl but don't act like it's never your fault. She has some bops but her attitude and persona is just off-putting. 12 17 12 37
Popular Post JoJo Posted October 14 Popular Post Posted October 14 The problem with the speech was that Taylor was talking to the audience as if they were her fans and not like they were her peers. The pause after saying 1989 was awkward. (This isn't meant to be a hate comment btw. Taylor was right, but she needed to work on the speech more) 21 2
réveuse Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Imagine being Woman of the Decade and still playing victim like you're that little girl from the VMAs when Kanye interrupted you. LOL. 7 4 13 24
dobrevv Posted October 14 Posted October 14 when arent there viral tweets about her, just saw tweet over 60k likes saying that she made her bf white 1
Popular Post BODERLINE Posted October 14 Popular Post Posted October 14 There was nothing wrong with her speech. Twitter doing the most as per usual. Yeah, the 1989 pause was awkward but that's really it. Obviously she was going to talk about herself and her career. She was accepting "Woman of the Decade". Why would she not talk about her own career. People are dumb. 16 7 1 1 4

Her constant self-victimization is exhausting, particularly when she's gotten where she is due to the media overpraising everything she does and allowing her to excel while doing the bare minimum at every stop. 31 2 21
Popular Post Michael196 Posted October 14 Popular Post Posted October 14 (edited) The speech was 15 minutes long, it would've been stupid, annoying and excessive, if they clapped and cheered the whole time, even for someone like her, also... the whole point of the speech was to summarize the insanely packed decade she carried for herself, which meant that she had to give a fraction of the speech to this topic. Why would she not talk about her own career. People are dumb. Of course she can talk about her own career. But she exaggerated many things in that speech. She did not stop making break-up songs in any album post-Speak Now. She played Kanye just as much as he played him and she has been playing the victim very often and often blames everyone else for her failed relationships. And the blocking and variants this year. And the one super close friend she has being Blake Lively and everything surrounding Blake's mean girl attitude just... it turns you off. 5 1 2 17
PYT Posted October 14 Posted October 14 The speech is supposed to be sarcastic/funny but no one's laughing? 1 1

JJZAW Posted October 14 Posted October 14 (edited) Woman of the Decade award should've gone to someone who's actually a girl's girl / woman's woman Edited October 14 by JJZAW 4 1 15
Popular Post Just a Gay on ATRL Posted October 14 Popular Post Posted October 14 The constant extreme swings from absolutely loving her one year to dogpile hating on her the next has gotten so tiresome. She is being brutally honest about the pressures and overwhelming number of back and forth opinions people had on her throughout her career and how it honestly affected her. Would the twitters users rather she have gotten on stage and lied that she never GAF what people said about her when it's not true? TBH I think majority of people in entertainment are like her and sensitive to critiques - people pleasing is part of the job. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to listen to critiques about yourself in certain cases either if it's coming from a valid place. 26 1 3
