If you are a famous singer and your image is directly attached to your business model, wouldn't something like a charity donation, which would greatly benefit the public's perception of you, be considered an investment? A PR investment?

So generous. And 5 millions is huge even for her, that is some C list, B list enture network.

So lets not Tik Tok mantra effect your thought that much lol. Stop being poor and getting mad at billionaire for being rich. Theres is good billionaire who use their talent to gain their well earned money and did work hard for her success and alsk did give back to society countless times.

This is why I will always respect her no matter whatever I may think of her music/her personality at any given point or time. I do think she genuinely cares about helping people and using her fame for good.

The way it's only publicized because Feeding America announced it themsleves.  But please get your kiis in at this huge amount of money that will feed and help thousands of people.

this is what always happens.

organizations will thank Taylor, and OTHs will say "she's disgusting for bragging about it and being desperate for publicity to stay relevant!!!"

Good. They need it.

I had several friends plus my sister that were thankfully all spared by Helene but I know others out there are hurting and aren't so fortunate.

Take your stupid stan wars elsewhere y'all. Helene was the deadliest storm in the US since Katrina. This is not the time to drag Taylor just because you hate her.

Again, thank you Taylor.

Not at all. I'm glad she gave that money and I'm not criticizing her at all either. I'm just saying that maybe she doesn't deserve any praise either. It's not like she's sacrificing anything to do it. In fact like I said, she's getting something in return: a good image and some people even defending her position as a billionaire as we can see in this thread.

This is awesome and will make a huge difference for a lot of people!

Also, people in these comments here are showcasing they have no idea how net worth works lol

Taylor Swift doesn't literally have a billion dollars in her bank account. $5M to charity is in fact a lot, nothing she does will ever be enough for some of you all.

Feeding America is literally making it public to gather attention and donations. Switch on your brain, it helps... sometimes.

Seriously, go touch grass. You just look moronic right now complaining about a $5M donation to people devastated from the hurricanes.
