HolyKatyPerry Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Oh TayLEGEND. Eventually she's going to end up as the richest musician of all time me thinks.

And just like the people celebrating Rihanna, Selena & Beyoncé's wealth in previous threads and on Twitter, people doing the same with Taylor are just weird. No one's billionaire status is worthy of adoration. 5 4

Having access and owning the number of assets she has in real estate etc to add to her net worth is also disgusting. Swifties love to trot out that this estimation comes primarily from her music and merchandising, as if she isn't incredibly likely to be partaking and benefitting from shady practices with the factories that produce her endless amounts of clothing and accessories. 1
Venice B Posted October 5 Posted October 5 The fact she made all this money mostly from music is mind boggling
Popular Post By the Water Posted October 5 Popular Post Posted October 5 Omg let's get it together 26

Now is Taylor's issue that her music is succesful enough to wroth half a billion dollars and her concerts other half There are zero accusations towards her regarding shady practices but of course you'll invent them in order to complain about it 💀 3 2
piotrert Posted October 5 Posted October 5 kinda embarassing to stan someone who is only #2123 on the charts. swifties, we need to push her to at least $13B
byzantium Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) It's interesting that much of this is due to the equity generated by her catalog. It's certainly not liquid, but that would explain the rapid rise in her net worth these past two years. Edited October 5 by byzantium
fememeist Posted October 5 Posted October 5 She beat the chinese sweatshop CEO so i guess it's incrementally better
The Music Industry Posted October 5 Posted October 5 All from her MUSIC ventures No makeup and panties allowed! 1 1
trainsskyscrapers Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) It's very easy to value one's catalog when you don't own it. Doesn't Rih own her catalog? I see some slight Rihanna shade in here, but don't act like TSwift's music-centric (with some real estate thrown in) portfolio is what she initially wanted. Her clothing line with Walmart, fragrance, and acting career simply haven't been profitable enough to sustain. Trust and Believe 2/3 would continue on with licensing deals if the collaborating brands saw demand and were interested. Do y'all remember l.e.i by Taylor Swift sundresses at the front of each Walmart store in the late 00s? Flopped. Edited October 5 by trainsskyscrapers 1 7
aesthetic bih Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I feel like she is worth more tbh, but she should understate cuz **** the IRS!

You're making no sense at all. "don't act like TSwift's music-centric portfolio is what she initially wanted." Of course it's what she wanted...? Taylor's passion is for music, and she rarely ever ventures off of that. 22 minutes ago, trainsskyscrapers said: It's very easy to value one's catalog when you don't own it. Doesn't Rih own her catalog? Taylor owns all of her albums and re-recordings from 2019 onwards, and those alone have a bigger value than Rihanna's entire catalogue. Be so serious. 22 minutes ago, trainsskyscrapers said: Her clothing line with Walmart, fragrance, and acting career simply haven't been profitable enough to sustain. Trust and Believe 2/3 would continue on with licensing deals if the collaborating brands saw demand and were interested. Taylor never had a clothing line with Walmart to begin with a random Trump satire Facebook account started the rumour that there was one in the works that was canceled because she endorsed Kamala and y'all ran with it despite it being debunked. Fragrance? The last time she released a perfume was a decade ago. You must be living in a parallel world if you believe there's not dozens upon dozens of brands begging Taylor to have licensing and brand deals. Taylor has always been extremely careful with what she associates her name with. She rejects the vast majority of them. Bottom line is that if Taylor wanted to make more money by making something else than music, she easily could. Y'all are lucky she never released makeup Edited October 5 by The Music Industry 6
