Movies aren't like album eras, a flop is much easier to brush off and generally doesn't get attached to the artist's identity. In 2009, Sandra Bullock starred in the biggest panned bomb of the year (All About Steve), and then two months later had her career peak with The Blind Side and won the Oscar. 

 

Gaga shot this movie two years ago, we'll probably never hear her mention it again as she's already moved onto LG7.

Sandra actually won the Razzie for Worst Actress the day before she won the Oscar for Best Actress. Also even the negative reviews mostly praised Gaga's performance, so you may not get your wish
