I know someone who lies like this. But it's worse. At least he's did it (allegedly) for fame, or to get some kind of gain. The guy and girl I know just lie for the plot. And they're big lies

He's still in a precarious position. His case technically isn't "over".

 

Best I remember, he's out on some kind of bail and is essentially waiting on a final decision about whether he'll go to jail or if his case will resume. Both are unlikely given the wasted time and money that went into prosecuting only for him to now be out. I think everyone involved (on both sides) is looking to have this put to bed. 

 

Ultimately though, he can't implicate himself. At least not now. 

 

At the same time, I do wonder why he's promoting a low-budget movie that really could have waited until his ish was wrapped. Knowing he'll have to do press and be asked about the case and have no option but to stick to his "innocence" in the same way is kinda wild.

Call me crazy, but am I the only one thinking there are aspects of this story that flat-out haven't been disclosed? 

 

Make no mistake, I for sure don't believe his exact take on things and feel there to be some f**kery at play. However, in following the case closely, so much has gone over people's heads and was not centralized in the reporting of ish. From his drug addiction to the possibility of drugs (either being taken or dealt) being at the center of whatever he was involved in with the "brothers". As far-fetched as most of his story is, it's equally not totally out of the realm of possibility for the brothers to have turned on their strung-out boss. A boss one of them was allegedly sexually involved with too. Given the likely illegal nature of other aspects of the connection, it figures why both sides may be silent on aspects of the story that may (at the very least) make Jussie's take more sense.

 

TBH, it may not change the reality of the matter (see: some definitive BS at play with his "side") and I will never believe he was going to get Subway (lol), but I just feel like some key aspect is...missing.
