I means it's become very obvious that this album was primarily made to fulfill his 5 album contractual obligation with island and he had no plans to fully return to stuff like this. It's also kinda clear that's he's just not okay generally

He hasn't been well for a very long time, but I bet it's all about his music career, he wants to retire from the music industry, and now that this is his last album under contract, he's being very passive-agressive about the whole rollout
