Sabrina and he haven't been together for a long time but he for sure meant a lot to her since she wrote a good portion of Short & Sweet about him while she was probably just a rebound for him after being with Camila for three years. That's why her song "Taste" makes no sense to me (even though I love the song) because she was the other woman, not Camila. He even briefly went back to Camila after he and Sabrina split. This has nothing to do with race They just started dating and he cheated on her with Camila without even being honest/communicative with her while also playing the Prince charm like he always does. Sabrina has the right to talk about that situation. It's what's relationships can do. On the first triangle, she started dating these guy when he and Olivia broke up and Olivia was hurt, and she had the right to do it anyway, who wouldn't be hurt if you date a guy and then he starts dating someone else in less than a month or something. But Sabrina didn't do anything wrong. And that's the main difference between these two situations. but obviously people starts to talk and put everything out of context. Shawn and Camila and everyone have the right to express themselves and say/do what they want. They are musicians and obviously they will talk about personal lives. The most damage is made by the GP anyway, Camila has named Sabrina a lot in recent interviews, and I know Sabrina doesn't hate Camila and Shawn but she obviously won't be fake and praise them or talk to them at all. Just like her and Olivia. Both are cordial but they aren't mean to be friends. But the stans are the ones that harass them and starts talking and judging them 24/7. It's not the artists faults at all 6

It's about how he quickly went back to her while they were still dating so she said "well you are back together but my lips are still there because he was with me last week". It's not about who was first or who was the other woman. Shawn and Camila met up at Coachella and Shawn didn't said anything to Sabrina while she was in LA still dating him. Shawn just didn't have a good communication with Sabrina, he went to Coachella while still texting her and then he met up with Camila while pretending his phone was with no charge, then she knew about everything like anyone else, with the videos of them on the media. I think you're taking the lyrics to literally instead of as a dramatic retelling to make the song more interesting which is what most songs about real relationships do.
