yup, every person in Hollywood has their own bought doctor they get drugs from

edit: wait Chavez? does he look mixed? cause that explains the speedy ass trial and accusations (with all respect to Matthew but these celebs do this knowingly)

Ketamine is mostly safe if used correctly. You don't overdose on it. In higher doses it only sedates you.

It was Perry's fault for using ketamine in a hot tub. Perry was so high, that he drowned when he lost control over his muscles.

It's much safer to obtain ketamine from a doctor than from a dealer. In the US, there is always the risk that drugs provided by dealers could be laced with fentanyl. So i don't think the doctor should be punished for it.

Doctors giving out drugs because their patients WANT them for drug abuse is pure negligence

His doctors and assistants took advantage of his addiction and continued giving him drugs after he had horrible reactions. Throw them all in prison.

It's a difficult situation to be in, since everyone is somewhat right to an extent. It's definitely a very thin line between fault and blame, and as someone who has took too much Ketamine by accident, speaking from experience, you ultimately can never blame anyone or anything not even yourself but the action and responsibility of change must come from within.

The doctor shouldn't be charged, but he should've been aware that Matthew was off the deep end, but only Matthew himself could have made the decision to stop and get better

It's called an addiction. Know how that works? He is a DOCTOR. He enabled this when it was the last thing he should've done.

I don't necessarily think it's solely the doctor's fault, but I do think he deserves to be held somewhat responsible. It is irresponsible as a doctor to give high amounts of drugs such as ketamine to known and/or recovering addicts.

This doctor made numerous ILLEGAL and unethical decisions. How is that not his fault?

Well the doctor in question disagrees with you given their plea

he's not charged with murder, so no one was ever blaming him "solely"

you hop off.

He was enabling his addiction for money. Yes, ultimately it's your responsibility as an addict to try and get better but it's a disease and humans are not perfect. I'm shocked at the lack of empathy here. Is it because he was a celebrity? The people that were supposed to be looking out for him exploited him.
