BrokenMachine Posted October 1 Posted October 1 While Lopez Obrador leaves office with an approval rating over 70%, Claudia took from him the symbolic presidential sash early this morning at the San Lázaro Palace. The climate scientist from jewish ancestry, gave a speech in her inauguration outlining her priorities, with most of them being in the same vein as Obrador's project, and her wanting to continue his so-called 'Cuarta Transformación'. Her respect for human rights, women and indigenous people were also shown in her speech. Currently there's a large meeting at Mexico City's central plaza: El Zócalo to celebrate her first day in office. Sheinbaum is set to give her first public message as president later in the day. Bosque Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I don't think her being a woman is going to fix Mexico's problems, looks like she will continue AMLO's politics
