perfect blue Posted October 1 Posted October 1 18 minutes ago, TomTom said: Katy Perry stans and Alfred dupes (hey @surprisecentres) trying to launch a Kesha hate train and failing will be always remain a miserable endeavor by a truly pathetic breed of people. No matter how hard you try, you will never change the fact that nobody (except you) cares about your desperate attempts to distract from the fact that Kesha has more talent, acclaim, respect and integrity than Katy Perry will ever have. https://chicago.suntimes.com/lollapalooza/2024/lollapalooza-thursday-day-1-reviews-labrinth-kesha-tyla The entire concept of "Kesha hate" is created by Katy Perry stans with Katy Perry stans for Katy Perry stans. In every corner outside the Katy Perry stan bubble echo chamber, Kesha is a beloved, unproblematic artist with an acclaimed discography who has emerged stronger than before out of a life-wrecking experience and is now reaching new heights on her own terms. No amount of threads about snippets from a Mexican festival performance will change this. No one actually hates this flop. 2024 Ke$ha exists in the 7th level of floppage: indifference (see OP). 4 3 6

Trust me babe nobody hates kesha, in fact we love and pity her. She is a great and very talented artist deserves so much more. It is you guys are the nasty one. Look at yourself, you need to drag other artists down in your fave's thread for what? So that we hate her? If anything you are not doing her a favor. explain the post above you then 4 1

$ebert Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Omg I was there! Such a great show people actually LOVED the whole thing! Except like 143 haters in the crowd… Let me give you the context before jumping into conclusions, the show was in Mexico. Most people in Mexico don't speak a second language so If you change the lyrics and ask them to repeat after you, trust me and believe most people won't know what to do. I think is funny you're using that against her, desperation hit rock bottom lol Anyways I saw a lot of people wearing her merch, dressed like Animal circa 2010. Her show was one of the best alongside with Danna. She was the first Internacional headliner, it sucked she was given such a horrible spot (it was too early and it happened while it was raining) but I get it, she needs another big hit to get back in the game after they sabotaged her career. Anyways, that festival was made to celebrate women in music, a true feminist not every pop star can relate to, such an inspiration and I'm glad she was back in Mexico after more than 10 years 7 3 2

And if I recall this seems to be Mexico (or some other Latin American country for that matter), they probably don't even know who tf Diddy is. Just saying. Oh I forgot about that point, Diddy is not known in Mexico, I know about it cause read about pop culture often, but don't think Mexico knows what's going on with him, girl, they don't even know him. So yeah, not everyone speaks English in Mexico (shocking…) + Mexico doesn't know about Diddy news 9 1

Hate to break it to you, but Katy Perry stans have been on an unprecedented victim-shaming campaign against Kesha ever since Katy announced her reunion with her favorite producer and Kesha tweeted "lol". Katy Perry stans are camping under every Kesha-related post on Twitter, calling her a liar on a daily basis, sharing ugly edited pictures of her, wishing the worst upon her and generally clinging to every little possible detail to mock her - be it her appearance, achievements or experiences. The fact that these attempts aren't resonating with anyone on a large scale does not change the fact they are indeed happening. The majority of Katy Perry stans does not "love" or "pity" Kesha (what's there to pity about an acclaimed artist who successfully fought for her freedom and is having more success than in many years before?), but despises her - now more so than ever before. These are sad facts that are impossible to overlook. Edited October 2 by TomTom 12

Trashing Kesha after all the things she has been through the last years. It is WILD. 4

$ebert Posted October 1 Posted October 1 "Kesha hermana ya eres Mexicana" And she received like 4 Dr Simi's thrown on stage lol She had the most interaction with the fans out of all the performers so to claim it was bad just because one tik tok video is crazy, anyways I understand their desperation to create a hate train, just because her fave's decisions lead her to tank. 6

Genuine question: how can Katy Perry stans believe they have any moral high ground to exercise "payback" against any Kesha stan after Katy decided that she wants to be the one to catapult the man who turned the past 18 years of Kesha's life into the most horrible living hell on earth back into the highest echelons of pop music? How can you knowingly stan someone who is actively trying to bring back the man that tried to destroy the whole life and career of said someone's peer and wanted to take everything she has from her since she became an adult? How is it possible to tolerate this move and simultaneously decide that the people who rightfully express relief over the colossal failure of this cursed endeavor must receive "payback"? What is "payback"-worthy about satisfaction with the failure of a large-scale rehabilitation attempt of one the most diabolical figures in the entertainment industry who spent tens of millions of dollars trying to ruin, bankrupt, destroy and humiliate one of his protégées? 3 12
Archetype Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Knowing more context around where this was and such, I get the crowd wouldn't understand what she was referring to. However, that performance is legit horrible. I knew she was a bad performer, but I assumed she would be able to do this better by now. 1 2 6

Oh my god here we go again. where is this energy when (insert artists who worked with dr puke after the lawsuit began) found success? it is the last thing we want her to do hence we feel sorry for kesha. If the table turned and Katy was the victim, would you cancel kesha immediately? I personally would hate to do what you did. 7
