Period. I don't think misoginy is the direct issue in Katy's floppage but it does exist and is prominent for women in music. Young boys and men don't find you attractive anymore and women stop wanting to look like you because you're starting to show aging. It's natural but shouldn't be detrimental for music but female pop artists that used some of their PR to highlight how attractive they are whether it be in videos or performances become a victim of that when they're no longer as attractive as before.
