A tour is draining, physically and mentally. If your battery is already at 30%, which is Shawn's default operational level these days, a lengthy tour can literally destroy you. And besides the obvious misery of forcing himself to tour while depressed, his awful, nasaly voice was also guaranteed to give up and give OUT 15 dates in, so he would cancel anyway, only in that scenario, he'd have to get humiliated first. He would have been crushed

Touring seems like the worst part of being a singer. The constant travel, rehearsals, cancelling is never the first option because of the money involved. It must be Indeed physically and mentally draining.

 

I believe its labels who should be more responsable on who they make tour, double check and triple check whos actually fit to tour before starting the tour sales.

Hope he's getting better. Honestly, ATRL needs to stop with forcing the "he's gay/strapon/etc." narrative on him.

 

Whatever his sexuality is, it shouldn't be too "what are you afraid of? come out!". If he wants to state anything in regard to it, he will. If not, then not.

 

Hope he's healing and his state of being is good.
