Limit the number of "deluxes". There is absolutely no reason for artists to be releasing literally +20 digital versions of their albums with each having 2 different "live"/"slowed down"/whatever bonus tracks. A maximum of 4 different tracklists for an album is more than adequate. 2. Don't allow digital download purchases of albums from an artist's site. Billboard already did this last year for digital singles after the scammery that was going on so it is high time to do it for albums too. iTunes, Google Play, Amazon are all there for people who want to buy an album digitally and is what the real select GP who still do so use. Artists sites for digital albums is solely for people aiding in chart manipulation. These two things would easily get rid of 95% of the fraud that's being done right now. 15

RoseBud Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Use what's left of your brains, it's not fraud if it's legal
Gorjesspazze9 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Yes, Billboard has become so fraudulent that it's just common knowledge now. 2
Squall Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) No, what's fraudulent is people like Paris Hilton buying their own albums. When it's the fans buying them, I don't see it as « fraudulent »… except if the albums are sold at a loss ($5 vinyl for instance). Edited September 30 by Squall 1

mrmayman Posted September 30 Posted September 30 While it is ridiculous, it's quite annoying when people claim "fraud" when that's just not the case. He's the biggest selling male artist by pure sales at the moment, he had his vinyl and cds ship last week. It makes sense why he went #1. 3

BrokenMachine Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Can't believe Billboard lets this criminal pull his fraudulence like nothing, they're such a joke

When 99% of the numbers come from pure sales... in 2024, and the album doesn't pull enough streaming numbers to keep it at least at #200, despite of the big pure sales, you know something isn't adding up
penguintim Posted September 30 Posted September 30 The way the Little Travesties swore up and down he deserved that #1 debut over Sabrina 1 8
