Xtina23 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 YASSSSS!!!! CAN NOT WAIT FOR THEM TO SHAKE THEIR AUSTRALIAN ASSES TO HER 143 (AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE NOW) BOPS!! 2
Iridesence Posted September 27 Posted September 27 No offence, but lowkey every major international artist sells out in Australia because we're often ignored and there are a lot of Australians are concert-goers. Just look at Dua Lipa who just sold out 5 shows in the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. Good for her for taking advantage of that though. 2 2 4 8
Sky Engineer Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Happy for her because they were literally giving away witness tickets for free back then 1

Drowned8World Posted September 27 Posted September 27 the best thing that can happen to her right now is to have a successful tour. Her MDNA moment is coming

Australia has continuously been shunned by a lot of the big pop-girls on majority of their tours in the past decade including Beyoncé, Gaga, Ariana, Lana, Doja + more. It has been getting a little bit better lately, but it's still not a wild claim. Edited September 27 by Iridesence

Her MDNA moment is coming Quote Madge's latest album, MDNA, sold 359,000 copies in its first week, which was well ahead of her last effort (2008's Hard Candy started with 280,000), and the pop star's best sales week since her successful 2000 set Music bowed with 420,000. MDNA marks Madonna's fifth straight No. 1 debut; Interestingly, Madonna achieved these MDNA numbers without a hit single currently making waves. https://ew.com/article/2012/04/04/album-sales-madonna-lionel-richie-billboard-200/ cmon katy you can do it 1

Iridesence Posted September 27 Posted September 27 (edited) 2 hours ago, Squall said: It's part of majority of world tours, stop lying and think you are Switzerland or something Of course I know it's normal for artists to skip destinations, however I'm explaining the demand in Australia as opposed to in the US and Europe which are almost always guaranteed. Also someone from Switzerland is going to likely be a train ride away from another European date whereas a lot of Australians aren't even a train ride from the Australian dates if they do come. If no Australian dates, there will not be another option for Australian concertgoers unless they want to fork out thousands extra to fly across the world and seas on top of purchasing expensive tickets. It's a very big, geographically isolated country, hence why there are fewer major artists that come here and there is demand for the ones that do. like I don't care that we don't get as many artists, I'm just explaining why there is demand here and why tickets sell out so easily here and again I'm not lying Edited September 27 by Iridesence
Sexyzinger Posted September 27 Author Posted September 27 I just knew I would re-enter to *witness and giggle at the fumes coming from the usuals. The tour is off to a beautiful start. Please seethe and then cope 🤭 @Xtina23
