Hope it's good. Jump was the last single I loved from her.

Do you think Ciara was holding her breath during the video shoot

Yeah but it's literally a picture they took backstage on tour :rip: proving that no music video has been shot….

I swear she does not use being independent to her advantage at all...... everything gives off uninspired/lazy/last minute. Down to the music, roll outs, and outfits. Smh

Finally this is a step up!

Instead of just sounding dated this actually sounds like a throwback track.

If people don't like this I actually don't mind her quitting music. This is everything. Idk what else yall could possibly want

Ciara's making the wrong kind of music to not do any of the standard promo tactics. If she wants to do singer songwriter whatever music then this minimalist approach with limited creativity works fine. However yeah she's gonna keep getting the same response to working with people who also peaked mid2000's

She needs to stop making music. I've had enough.

The problem is…. 80% of the music is bad. And then when she has a decent song like this one, it's just thrown out with no purpose.

2 songs in but when is the era starting and what is the plot?? Cuz rn it seems like music is just being used as an illusion to make it look like she's grinding… and to who? Russell? Cuz everybody else stopped paying attention.

The dumb lil tik toks are pointless. The promo for run it up was a laughing stock (thank god cuz the song wasn't good) but it looks like this is yet ANOTHER song getting that same treatment.

like hang it up atp cuz what EXACTLY as fans are we waitin on???? Nothing but much of the same for a decade now.

Similarly to Run It Up I really enjoy the parts where she sings…she has such a beautiful tone but she seems to be gravitating towards sing-talking/rapping which I'm not really sold on.

Her voice here is the closest I've heard  to country sounding Cici from the Goodies days.  I just wish she would stop bringing religion into everything she does now. It's so cringe and corny. This production is so fire though.

Again, where is the budget with these single covers?
