what I've (sadly) learned about this case specifically is where there's smoke there's fire. per example, the way the "Diddy blew up Kid Cudi's car" was also just a random blog/twitter thing and then after a decade it was confirmed true and directly involving Cassie (and the party story I'm referring to actually had a lot more reports in comparison).

People are just spreading mis-information because they want to take down celebrities they don't like. This combined with far-right conspiracy mania (think pizzagate, 5G) and TikTok has went a bit crazy.

 

There's a TikTok accusing JAY-Z and Beyoncé of murdering 2Pac that has nearly 2 million likes......bearing in mind that Beyoncé was 15 at the the time of his death and Jay had only just released his debut album less than 3 months prior. It's ludicrous, but people are stupid and want to believe anything that fuels their celebrities are evil narrative.

 

Plus people love to tear celebrities down if they've been successful for a long time; they'll only love them after they come back from breakdown. Beyoncé being successful for so long without a career destroying scandal and being a black woman who's made political art only amplifies this by 1000 times.

 

It's the Harvey Weinstein situation all over again. They were accusing every actor/director who worked with him of being in on it as if he didn't produce hundreds of films over the course of his career. People don't care about the victims, they just want some salacious gossip. Cassie made it clear that Diddy went to long lengths to hide his abuse from the world in her deposition; he wasn't doing all this at his white parties in front his thousands of guests; the abuse was likely happening after at the hotels with his team/close circle.

 

It's sad that a lot of people are just turning this into mindless celebrity gossip - especially since the majority of them didn't believe Cassie when she initially came forward. I hope that Dawn Richard and the rest of the victims get the justice they deserve despite the fact that TikTok psychics and drug addicts are trying to cash in on their trauma by spreading blind items they read on L*pstick All*y as if they're fact.

I am reminded every day how ignorant people can be. As if Beyonce/Jay Z are rich because of not cutting in a couple more writers in the pennies that streaming pays. Their fortune comes from touring/merchandising and MAINLY their business ventures.

 

As for hanging out with a "criminal" there has been pictures of Diddy with literally everyone in the music industry. From Britney Spears to Mariah Carey. JLo was his girlfriend. But of course, it's the Carters that knew. People will say anything to bring Beyonce down, man.

Don't conflate Aubrey O'Day with Jaguar Wright. Jaguar was in the industry for 5 minutes.......she was literally going live on socials spreading her son's ashes on her face and throwing them at people. The woman has deep rooted mental illness and was described by her living son as a "dead son of Narcissus" and a "drug addict" who'll do anything for attention. She just reads gossip online and chats to whoever will listen for a quick buck.

 

Aubrey has made it clear that Diddy was a horrible man to work for, although she has never really went into detail (most likely out of fear for her own safety). She's been through a lot in the industry and shouldn't be compared to that woman who is trying to cash in on the victim's trauma.

JAY-Z was a work friend who respected Diddy highly as a business man.....they were not BFFs. There is no evidence of him being at any of the freak-off parties; just the regular parities that Diddy threw for 1000s of rich people (he partied with Britney, Xtina, Mariah, The Osbournes, Mel B, Paris, LL Cool J and an endless list of famous people).

Now let me start this off by saying I'm not on TikTok and am pretty sure the conspiracy theories there are indeed likely ridiculous and beyond fake, but Dawn herself says in her lawsuit how he punched Cassie in front of the CEO of Interscope Records, Usher and Ne-Yo during a business dinner at a Hollywood restaurant; everyone just kept eating and Cassie was escorted out. Why downplay the fact these other celebs clearly knew?? Cassie literally namedrops Jay-Z in her own lawsuit saying Diddy beat her repeatedly in an Escalade after a party with him (yes, AFTER a party. but now why did she have to mention Jay-Z's name at all? considering the Feds clearly used her lawsuit as the basis for a LOT of their investigation, you don't think they at least called Jay-Z just to ask if he witnessed anything weird at the party?) This is Harvey Weinstein all over again... yeah "no one knew" sure.

It should be left up to them but if we're honest the FBI, the NYPD, the US government, they are only going to go after causes and people that benefit them in terms of the larger story and structure that they have built and are trying to maintain. I've read Cassie's lawsuit page to page, I'm aware that Jay-Z's name was mentioned. Like you said, that happened in private after they met Jay; his name is mentioned because it's a dense testimony of the abuse Cassie suffered at the hands of Diddy and you have to be as specific as you can with date/time/place/person to strengthen your legal case.

 

Cassie was threatened by Interscope higher ups who protected Diddy; so Dawn's allegations are unfortunately unsurprising as there were a lot of people working to protect Diddy (I still have to read Dawn's full lawsuit).

 

I'm aware of the Usher/Ne-Yo/Jimmy Iovine situation; Duffy lost his temper for sure, but people worked hard to cover up and it's naïve to think he was doing all of this in front of thousands of celebrities at his frequent white parties. He paid $50k to hide that video footage for a reason.

 

There's nothing to tie Beyoncé and Jay-Z to this at all…….just hopeful speculation. Why aren't people coming for Ne-Yo or the likes of Chris Brown who have been mentioned as witnessing abuse in various lawsuits?

 

I never said that nobody knew about Diddy or Harvey……..but for most people in the entertainment industry who caught wind of goings on it was more than likely loose rumours about orgies etc as these men had a very public image that differed from the evil they committed behind doors.

 

I wish that people on TikTok would listen to what the victims have to say instead of believing TikTok psychics and going off on tangents about the death of *insert dead celebrity here*,  but most people seem to unfortunately want a media circus instead of the truth.
