Rush Posted September 24 Posted September 24 After going viral yesterday for this questionable photo, Aaron Taylor Johnson has decided to remind the world that he is still happily married by posting photos with his wife. https://www.instagram.com/aarontaylorjohnson/p/DATq0tJCYX_/?hl=en&img_index=1 4

YourFavoriteWeapon Posted September 24 Posted September 24 The way I don't know what people are expecting Aaron to do. I have strong greviences with the way his wife pursued him and think she's repulsive but at the end of the day, they're in a happy marriage and both have multiple kids. I can't ever expect him to leave her given that the average straight man probably deems the concept of women grooming men to be inconceivable 1

Khal Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Their relationship seems well-adjusted and he seems happy, even if the start was icky. I'm so sure that if he looked like Jonah Hill, very few people would give a **** about him being groomed or whatever. 10 1
bjorn Posted September 24 Posted September 24 He's only 34 years old. Give him some time. Sooner or later he'll leave the grandma. She'll be 70 when Aaron turns 47
popmusicisdead Posted September 24 Posted September 24 when she dies of old age in 2-3 years, i'll be there to console the young widower and offer my DEEPEST condolences 10

I firmly and strongly believe that men can be groomed and be victims of women but all this anger toward his wife is only because she's deemed physically unattractive and people have this belief that if Aaron was single they would have a chance with him. It literally just reeks of them being jealous as opposed to actually caring if he is being groomed. this man is in his thirties, he has multiple children by her and the marriage seems to be going very well. people just need to come to term with the facts that not only does this man not want you but he's…happy the gays are being hella creepy towards him too but that's another conversation… Edited September 24 by Bussea 5 5 1

That alone opens up a conversation pertaining to how a lot of gay men feel like they have the right to make fun of women's ages, the same way Neve Campbell has fallen victim to a slew of ageist remarks (as well as blatant antisemitism) by Melissa Barrera stans. It's very gross and vile behavior. 5 2

They have this sense of entitlement towards attractive men who are total strangers, and anyone who stands "in the way" of that (as if they'd get married to Aaron Taylor Johnson if she wasn't in the picture) is fair game to be insulted, regardless of the fact that they are a family with kids. 5
BOOMBAYAH Posted September 24 Posted September 24 People are more pressed that he's hot and they can't have him than him actually being groomed. Everytime I see a tweet criticising their relationship, it's in response to some thirst tweet of him looking hot with the people going "I can't believe grandma groomed him". 3

It's also vile because I know they wouldn't speak about women that way around their mother or sister. You can criticize women without resorting to ageist slurs like "hag". 1

My opinion is that she is vile and he is a victim, but as people in here have said, there is nothing we can do about it since Aaron seems to not care at all. But I also do think simply "letting them be" can be problematic in and of itself since it sets a precedent that if the groomed person comes to be fine with it that it should not matter, and that's a dangerous path to tread. Truth Teller Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I just KNOW ms groomer caught wind of the viral thirst for him and was like "I've gotta remind the girls real quick" 1
