Had the very same experience. I almost bought it, but when I decided to buy it, and tried it again it wasn't nice at all.

So I'm not the only one! I literally went to buy it the second time and upon trying it again I was like "umm maybe another time" :skull:

My choice of a perfume. Absolute star.

Girl I'm gagged at how similar our tastes are! This smells amazing to me, way better than the OG (the one with the black label).

Is this the new one (flanker) or the OG?

No the OG one has a black label and is an EdP iirc. This is the perfume version and I believe there's also an EdT (haven't tried that though).

Yes. I only have it the last few months but there's one with a black label, which is not as strong/good.

It's amazing and I've never gotten more compliments than when wearing this! And lasts so long!

Got myself a few decant/samples from some niche houses and here's my thought:

Commodity (Milk Expressive): Gourmand scent, like a burning marshmallow. The dry down is nice but the opening is quite sharp, cloying. Verdict: 6/10 :coffee2:

Juliette Has A Gun (Not a Perfume): A skin-scent type, creamy so expect a weak to moderate SPL and projection however the longevity beat my expectation (last 7-8 hours). Verdict 8/10 :whistle2:

Maison Margiela (When the Rain Stops): Quite a disappointment because I expect hint of petrichor (smell of rain) but this one more to soapy/laundry scent. In fact, this one almost 90% similar to ELDO "Exit the King". It's redundant to have both perfumes tho I would suggest that Exit the King is better in SPL and longevity. Verdict: 5/10 :noparty:

Bon Parfumeur (103): This is one of the most beautiful white floral fragrance I've ever smell, it's so refreshing and calming at same time. Definitely gonna grab the full 100mL bottle. I'm not really into floral since it's too feminine but lord this one changes my preference and the best thing about this house is that you can layer it with other perfume lineups (the 100+ series is for floral) while the 600+ series will give hint of woodiness. Verdict 10/10 :jonny5:

Anyone knows a coffee-based fragrance?

Dior Eau Noire. Aromatics and coffee. I'm not so into Dior but some of what they make is good, including this one.

Just got a decant of Xerjoff La Capitale. Wow almost a photorealistic strawberry syrup scent, kinda makes me want to go to Ihop in the best way.  Also performance is amazing as expected - 8/10

Anyone knows a coffee-based fragrance? Heard that Bath & Body Works "Coffee & Whiskey" is good at hella cheap price but sadly it has been discontinued. Interested on Followed by Kerosene but many say it's an abomination, claiming it's the world's most potent fragrance and sometimes smells like curry instead coffee :deadbanana4:

Britney spears private show *discontinued

Britney spears my perogative

Honestly I avoid any celebrity fragrances, most of them have very poor quality, mediocre blending :deadbanana4:

I checked Fragrantica, some people said the coffee are not prominent, too herbal and not worth the price, I think I will check Akro "Awake"

Demeter fragrance (or The library of fragrance if you're in Europe) have several realistic rain-themed perfumes

I bought Thunderstorm to try and I personally HATED IT but they seem to have quite a large stan base, they're also extremely cheap so blind buying isn't as dramatic
