Well, logistically, Mexico works different than the US, kinda like an overseas concert logistic, so it's not that crazy to have it apart from the US dates. To begin with, artists touring in the US usually travel in a tour bus, but in Mexico they move in planes, and often the stage is different than the US one.

This tour is truly something unusual It's her first tour in 7 years after too many flopping singles and a public image in the pits. They can still build a decent touring audience after all of that, and that's what they're doing

The past couple years Mexico has gotten the same stages as US and became part of their routing. It happened with Witness too. Only Brazil, Argentina and Chile will get a lesser version of the stage.
BrokenMachine Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Here before she snubs the US. Her P!nk's Try This Tour I fear
FabForAThrowback Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'm so happy she's doing great! She deserves it, she's a phenomenal performer 1

Shove the stage and crew in a plane like Iron Maiden and fly to a long list of cities that cannot be toured the normal way (because the accountants see huge costs)? 3:30 - 5:00 : Over the next 6 weeks they travel 40k miles, play in 21 cities in 12 countries across 4 continents. Average distance of 2000 miles between each show during the first tour leg. According to Wikipedia, it's even more impressive. Quote The first leg of Iron Maiden's Somewhere Back in Time World Tour opened in Mumbai, India on 1 February, and continued through Australia, Japan, Los Angeles and Mexico, followed by concerts in Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico and New Jersey, before finishing in Toronto, on 16 March. Over the 45-day period the band played 23 concerts to over 500,000 fans in 11 countries, flying close to 50,000 miles in the specially refitted plane: Boeing 757, dubbed "Ed Force One" after a competition to name the plane. On this leg of the tour, the Iron Maiden: Flight 666 film was shot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somewhere_Back_in_Time_World_Tour#Tour_synopsis They went on a tour in 2008 based on their tour in 1985. Translated to Katy, it's like doing a tour in 2037 based on her tours back when Obama was president.
