What type of venues are we expecting in North America? She should pull a Feed The Beast tour tease and do large venues in major cities and medium sized theatres in smaller cities as a way to play it safe.

I agree she can maybe still pull off one night arena dates in NY, LA , Montreal or Toronto, Miami, ATL etc if the tickets are say $50-80 GA. The logistics and cost may be an issue though.

Even Alicia Keys got away with a full US Arena run last summer that did... decent , so who knows. But given the overwhelmingly negative aura surrounding her name here currently... it's kinda up in the air

I think she said she's coming back to the UK or Europe before the end of this year, so I'm assuming the tour is starting there. And yeah starting it outside of the US is smart because they don't hate her guts there like the Americans do currently.

This.

I laughed really hard at people suggesting Katy do small theatres in America. She's Katy Perry lol. She's not a new artist. She's done the Super Bowl. She'll forever be able to sell tickets

Four shows for a tour is great for a person of her caliber. Don't overdo it. :clap3:

Might wanna look up her residency ticket sales. They didn't even report the majority of the dates because it did so poorly.

You do know the logistics of a residency in one place vs. a world tour are two different things right?
But considering your post history in this site and your staunch hatred for Katy Perry, I doubt you even wanna know.

except that we have Pollstar data for all 80 dates. her show performed better commercially than that of fellow Resorts World act Carrie Underwood, who successfully toured arenas with her most recent era.

Should I buy the tickets when it opens? Or should I wait closer to date when it's heavily discounted?

My understanding is she's supposed to announce the world tour. My source told me last week she was announcing the tour on Wednesday.
