I'm sorry but both of them are miscast imo :rip:

 

We'll see how it goes though. Hope they both pull it off.

The ages don't match with the characters in the book. 

 

Odd casting choice, unless she is rewriting it in some way.

I wonder if Fennell would treat this with the breaking the cycle of abuse story from the novel instead of the usual Hollywood love story treatment.

Looking at Margot's casting it seems like the latter, She could play a little Catherine Heathcliff cameo at the end but she cannot pull off selfish, unlikeable Catherine Earnshaw from the novel.

Margot can act any roles she wants. She is a versatile talented actress
