Lol Normally brits wouldn't tolerate it before the 1st of December sooo it's very unusual! But Scott is many an anomaly in any case as he's an openly gay dj 1
MJ Boston Posted September 30 Posted September 30 What an ear worm. After a few listens I literally cannot get it out of my head. Right up there with UTT for me.
kayliah Posted October 2 Posted October 2 i dont like it at all the instrumentals and beats drown her voice too much. Sounds like a bad demo. I can barely hear her immaculate vocals over the beat. Its like they turned the beat to a 150 and the vocals to only a 30 volume. A mess wrapped in red remains her best christmas song.
CottageHore Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I mean how many more Christmas songs do we need written about wanting a lover for Christmas? She sounds great at least, but that's a given.
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted October 2 ATRL Moderator Posted October 2 The song is very bad. I don't like at all how her vocals don't blend with the instrumental, it's like 2 different things that don't sound good if you put them together. Her vocals also sound in bad quality. I guess that's all intentional but I don't think this song is truly necessary and Atlantic must only be interested in Kelly releasing more Xmas songs that people listen to them when they're streaming UTT and her other Christmas catalog. The good side of this is that at least she worked with different producers. 1
kayliah Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Cant she work with innovative producers and stage a comeback. How was she so famous and successful in 2011 and barely has any radio and streaming support these days. That voice belongs on radio. So sad how your career dies after a certain age. Ageism and misogyny for y'all. I love kelly clarkson too bad they did not push the pop radio songs off the last album and pushed only the ballads.
RealityBites Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Also You For Christmas is currently #12 on AC chart.
