ZeroSuitBritney Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Clearly Kamala Harris hasn't done enough to earn her vote. What happened to the day where politicians need to EARN peoples' votes... y'all can't expect her to just fall in line with Democrats because the Republicans are worse. 1 4 7

I don't think we can compare the elections of the last few decades to this one. The MAGA-movement has corrupted the Republican party. In the end it's not about earning a vote, but doing anything and everything you can to stop this movemement. Vote. Edited September 22 by Patient Zero 4
Baby Judas Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Her team needs to keep her way from any form of interviews man. Love her, but it's getting so annoying..
MonsterJohn Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I'm glad Twitter is dragging the **** out of her She owns it to the queer people who uplifting her and be her inspiration to endorse the progressive candidate. There are problems on both side no ****, but pretending you have any other choice on the ballot is just dumb or self serving 7 3

She doesn't owe anyone a "Please support Momala!!! She is gonna save us from Trump!!!" statement if she does not genuinely feel represented by Kamala and her centrist/right-pandering policies. The irony of yall pretending to care about democracy. And I'll keep downvoting straight up Zionist propaganda and Blue MAGA posts that I disagree with. Sis, she's queer. Why would she advise someone to "use their critical thinking and vote for what's going on in their cities" when she can be an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and vote for them (Kamala). There are no both sides on this matter, it's black or white. Her not directly supporting her allies by being this vague makes her a part of the problem. She's either very ignorant, extremely stupid or more right wing than we think. This is as if a Palestinian would say there's issues on both sides regarding the Israel conflict and that we should use our critical thinking to chose who's the bad guy. Yeah it seems like mainstream politics, press and a huge swat of the public are buying into this 'YOU HAVE TO VOTE FOR KAMALA' shtick...The same shite happened in the UK with Starmer. Like, no, you don't have to. Politicians need to EARN your vote, not simply force/guit you into voting for them because they are the lesser of two evils. That's pretty undemocratic, if you ask me. Like, **** Kamala and her genocidal, cop-loving ways. **** her forever. **** Biden too and Obama, both of whom were so greedy for bloodshed they dropped hundres of thousands of bombs the world over. If I was in the US, I wouldnt not vote for her. I would vote Green or no-one at all. 4 8

She's either very ignorant, extremely stupid or more right wing than we think. Once again, she does NOT have to directly endorse Kamala. She literally does not owe it to anyone. Stop expecting celebrities to tell people who to vote for when they should be doing their own research instead. Chappell has been outspoken about the genocide and her support for Palestine so she obviously wouldn't want to be associated with the Biden-Harris administration who are currently funding the genocide after already turning down their White House invite. She has made her stance clear on all topics. And I do think that she'll be voting for Kamala eventually, she just won't be enthusiastically endorsing her and she doesn't have to Quote "Right now, it's more important than ever to use your vote, and I will do whatever it takes to protect people's civil rights, especially the LGBTQ+ community," she tells me in August. "My ethics and values will always align with that, and that hasn't changed with a different nominee. I feel lucky to be alive during an incredibly historical time period when a woman of color is a presidential nominee. Quote The change she wants to see in the US in this election year, she says instantly, is "trans rights. They cannot have cis people making decisions for trans people, period." Surely these are the words of a centrist/right-wing queer woman! The Uncommitted movement is also not endorsing Kamala while opposing Trump. Are they right wing too? Quote This is as if a Palestinian would say there's issues on both sides regarding the Israel conflict and that we should use our critical thinking to chose whose the bad guy. What? If Harris was running against a non-MAGA corrupted candidate, it would literally be a race of two Republicans. The right wing agenda she is running on (outside LGBTQ and womens rights) should be very alarming to folks. But because she is running against King MAGA, she is getting a pass. It's not good. 2 4

Bubble Tea Posted September 22 Posted September 22 It's actually well within everybody's rights to be able to vote in private. I have no doubt she's voting for Kamala but I'm sure, like for many with their wits about them, they know that neither Republicans or Democrats are fit to resolve the country's problems. Sadly, America is set up to only permit two viable parties, so you've got to vote for the lessor evil. Also perhaps her friends and family are Trump stans and she would rather not forsake the people she actually knows in her life so that random gays online can have their choices validated? TLDR: it's time to grow up and stop looking to celebrities for assurance about your own politics.
