Jennifer Lopez's management team are on 'high alert' and have held crisis talks to prepare a plan should the star get dragged into the ongoing criminal investigations into her ex Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
Insiders said Lopez's team were weighing up whether she should break her silence on her arrest with Combs on December 27, 1999, over the shooting of Natania Reuben and two others outside the Times Square Club in Manhattan. 

Lopez spent 14 hours in a cell after she was arrested with Combs and his bodyguard when cops found a gun inside the car they used to flee the scene of the shooting.

While Lopez was released and quickly cleared of involvement, Combs, his bodyguard Anthony 'Wolf' Jones and Jamal 'Shyne' Barrow, a 21-year-old rapper,  were all charged.

Combs and Jones were acquitted but Barrow found guilty of criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment, serving nine years in prison.

True but that was like 23 years ago so even if she was likely the statue of limitations is up for that. They also wouldn't want to go after her just use her to take down diddy

Jlo knew everything the entire time. yes she did. Does Jlo look like an idiot? you can call her a bad singer. a bad actress. a bad person. but you cant call her dumb. she knew what the tricks of the industry were, and she said "i accept it. make me a star". and diddy did just that. he and mottola (who is probably an evil man too) put the plan in place to get jlo to the top. before that, she was going to be the next Gloria Estefan. a local reasonably success singer. but mrs estefan actually pivoted to become a great music producer and businesswoman. so they said were making her the puerto rican britney. she signed her deal with the devil the moment she allowed Puff to use her for guns. if she was carrying his gun, she knew how dangerous of a man he was. get real. she knew what she was walking into. any normal woman would have seen that gun and said "hell no i am not carrying this on me",  but she didnt mind. so what else did she not mind? im not saying shes guilty, but shes not miss im innocent i dont know anything going on around me.  and dont even bring mariah into this. getting puff to do a remix for a song is not the same as dating someone and holding a gun for him. she knew it all but she played the game and played nice. well game over.

and sexual violence from several cases in the early 90s, he was accused in partaking in several murders in the mid 90s, he was accused of several shady financial and economic deals in the late 90s like of course she knew his reputation. i'll argue she could have not believed any of it but she at least knew all the rumors
