with all her samples and rehashes, girl can sing and write killer pop hooks for days! poor avallah deserves some payola, playlisting and promo! it's appaling how certain labels funnel so much money to atomic bombs while miss max gets no support at fadlantic :cries:

Hopefully they are making room for CB2. Let them all go as long as that album is heavily promoted and a grand success.

This sample narrative that keeps getting dragged into every Ava Max thread is so tired and annoying. I don't even like her that much, but most of her songs don't feature any samples.

In fact, her last album Diamonds & Dancefloors is full of great pop songs which don't rely on them.

Can't you just drag her for being a flop? At least then you'll be right.

We need the universe to give her the fame & success that Chappell has, I'm sure Ava would appreciate it.

Ngl, I'm surprised Cardi hasn't been cut as she hasn't released her second album. No hate towards her, but I'm surprised it's been six years and not even a mixtape has been released

Oh let me give Spot A Fake a few streams to help her fund an independent manager :deadbanana4:

poor girl. who will clear the samples now?

But yeah if Atlantic is really going down... it must be seriously ****** behind the scenes :deadbanana4:

The industry is in rough shape now. All of the UMG labels essentially got consolidated last year under Republic and Interscope, Capitol was hit with the double funding catastrophes of IICHLIWP and 143, and RCA continue to ruin every single artist they touch :deadbanana4:

It's the way that during Taylor's messy exit from Big Machine a lot of fans wanted her to go to Atlantic/Warner because they had such good payola and play listing, and we were kinda mad she went with Republic since they'd botched the Reputation era radio rollout so badly (and were then proven right by Lover...*sigh*) and now it's looking like one of maybe... three? four? profitable labels right now (assuming Columbia, Interscope, and I guess Island are in good shape). The music industry is in dire shape :deadbanana4:
