Phaunzie Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Literal Jpop Legends and Global Industry Icons, Perfume just released their new album Nebula Romance Part 1 yesterday and gurls I am smittened like Ms. Cake. Each song is fantastic, and the city pop vibes are just right for the post summer fatigue. The way Love Cloud, Cosmic Treat and The Light *^* got me good and ready for the later boppage of Morning Cruising (Oooh Scandalous). Imaginal Disk was found shaken, broken and bleeding in the ether somewhere after Starlight Dreams broke onto the scene. The fact that these Retro Goddesses still got part 2 to release next year. My dimension-hopping arse is not ready. Let's go cruising together, gurls. 1
Comedor Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I don't know these girls. How does it compare to SNSD JP discography? 1

Perfume are the technopop pioneers of jpop scene, their discography would be considered better than SNSD's Jp discography. From Complete Best to Level 3, they are unbeatable. Caution: they are pretty experimental at times, however if you like electronic music they are fantastic. Below is an example of what they do best. This album is kind of a departure in that it has a city pop sound with retro electro sounds (synthy as hell) and a funky bassline. Edited September 21 by Phaunzie 1 2
